Comprised of 326,000 square feet of warehouse space, including 186,000 square feet of coolers on a 23-acre campus with over 160 brands of beer, Fuhrer Wholesale sells 15.5 million cases of domestic, import and craft beers every year with annual sales totaling nearly $300 million.

New Hampshire Distributors, LLC. does business with over 2000 accounts in the eastern part of the state. Our footprint stretches from Manchester, NH’s largest city, to the border town of Seabrook on the southern end and encompasses everything in between all the way to the Canadian border on the northern end. Servicing our accounts on a daily and weekly basis is our top priority. For years, the Company’s portfolio consisted primarily of beer. Around the millennium, New Hampshire Distributors started to diversify and we now distribute various waters, energy drinks, teas, juices, new age drinks and boutique sodas.
In 1933, Frank Wilsbach started the business in a small uptown Harrisburg garage. It all started with Ballantine and then added a well-known supplier, Anheuser-Busch, in 1934. In 1959, Frank Wilsbach died, leaving the business to his wife, Bea. She appointed Harold Sourbeer to the president position and Bob Paul as vice-president. Up-and-coming supplier, Stroh’s Brewery, was added to the portfolio in the late 1960’s giving Wilsbach a strong base to grow the business. The Sourbeer family purchased the business in 1988 and continues to run the business today. With continued growth and the need for expansion, Wilsbach built our current facility in Harrisburg off I-83 in Susquehanna Township in 1999. Our portfolio continues to grow significantly, and we currently partner with over 45+ suppliers and represent the finest beverages from around the World.
In 1977, Rodney and Crockett purchased Durham Distributing, which lead to Coors Brewing awarding rights to Durham Distributing for Durham and Orange Counties. In 1988 after the purchase of Cary Wholesale, which expanded their footprint, Rodney and Crockett changed the company name to Long Beverage. In1989 Long Beverage was chosen as the Corona Franchise and acquired Galanides Inc., the local Pabst wholesaler. This acquisition came with other brands such as Colt and Rolling Rock. In 1996, Long Beverage’s next acquisition was Triangle Beverage, which allowed the company to consolidate the Stroh’s, Pabst, and Colt brands for the entire local market. Throughout the late 2000’s many brands were added to the portfolio including craft and domestic to non-alcoholic. 2018 became a big year when Heineken began being distributed. In February of 2020 Mims Distributing Co. was acquired, which welcomed some new and exciting brands that have created a strong presence in Long Beverage’s portfolio.
Gulf Distributing Company of Birmingham was formed in January of 2017 when the Maisel family entered into a joint venture with the Schilleci family of Supreme Beverage Company. GDC of Birmingham is a wholesale beverage distributor representing a multitude of global, national, regional and local breweries and beverage suppliers, such as MillerCoors, New Belgium Brewing Company, The Boston Beer Company, Abita Brewing Company, Trim Tab Brewery, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and many others. Gulf Distributing Company of Birmingham is a subsidiary of Gulf Distributing Holdings LLC.
